I love cherry blossom trees and their delicate flowers. Spring is one of my favorite seasons in part because of the fleeting beauty of these Japanese flowers. I have decided to paint a series of cherry blossoms. This is the first of the series. The blossoms are a delicate pink and the art has a soft realist impressionist feel.
