This rose is painted in bold strokes of pink, fuschia, yellow, and white; it is set against a blue background accented with the green of the leaves of the flower. Originally part of a collection that was shown at a church benefit show, the bounty of the flower's beauty is overflowing. It has impressionist expressionist qualities.
