This art is from a series of purple flowers against a deep blue background. This one is a bearded iris gently swaying. Some of my flowers were altered in color to fit my theme, but while the style is expressionistic and flowing, this one has colors true to the original flower and has a poetic realist feel. It is part of my gothic garden series.
