This lily painting was inspired in form by an actual flower, but the hues of blue, purple, and white that it is composed of are drawn from my imagination. It is set against a deep blue sky. This art is part of a series of gothic garden blossoms that I painted in this color pallete and it has a gothic impressionist feel.
