This big eyed black maiden is inspired by the African American folktale "I Know Moonrise" as retold by S.E. Schlosser. She drowned in the marsh and longs for her family. She cries soft tears. This ghost shares the depth of her emotions through her big luminous eyes. The art has a lowbrow surreal feel.
