Original size 16"x20" © 2007 Lisabella Russo (formerly Lisa Isabella Russo) This painting is of a dream within a dream. She is inspired by the Greek goddess Hera, also known as Juno in Roman mythology. She is clad in turquoise with a peacock feather adorning the bodice of her dress. Three of her calla lilies are at her side. She is in disguise with a mask and fairy wings whilst visiting the human realms. After all, it does not seem fair that only Zeus should visit. There are hues of copper in her hair and accenting her fluid wings in the original painting that will print as shades of brown. This painting was included in a juried show at the SPAA Gallery. The original painting is a 16"x20" acrylic painting on canvas. |
