This little hippocampus seahorse friend is based on two different types of seahorses, one that is incandescent and the other that has willowy extursions, giving him a surreal fantasy feel. He also has very big eyes for a seahorse. I started him as an exploration in technique for a larger painting of the little mermaid here; but, he is such a sweet little sea horse that I find I love him just as he is and I hope you will too!
