As I was walking, I caught sight of these mushrooms nestled in the knoll of a tree. Fortunately I had my camera with me and was able to capture them. They were actually shades of brown, but I felt like painting them in red. Sometimes I enjoy taking what is seen and portraying it in a way that I see it in my mind... They look like they could be part of a fairy village! The art has a realist impressionist feel.
