With vibrant hues of orange and red this monarch butterfly soars upon the wind. Monarch butterflies are a favorite of mine. I love to see them. They love milkweed, so I've planted milkweed in our garden for them. Mariposa is Spanish for butterfly, to some they hold a special significance of ancestors returning. This art piece has a surreal lowbrow feel.
